about

Amy's first venture into face painting happened in 2004.  A recent graduate from the University of Arizona's fine arts program, she found herself in LA and in dire need of a job.  She answered an "artists wanted" ad in the paper.  It turned out to be face painting at Universal Studios Hollywood.

In a year and a half of nearly full-time face painting in a popular theme park, she's clocked in more hours of experience than most self-taught face painters do in a lifetime.  She also learned about customer service and professionalism.

Since then she's worked on her own.  She has painted faces in California, Oregon, Arizona, Mexico and New York!

Amy uses only hypoallergenic, water-based, cosmetic grade face paint along with non-metallic glitter that is safe for the eyes.  All supplies are thoroughly cleaned after each gig.

When not making people super colorful, Amy spends her time painting and drawing on canvases and paper, petting her cat and adoring her toddler.
